Melanie and Adrian
Melanie and Adrian had a vary fun and unique wedding. Melanie got ready at the Crown Plaza Hotel at Playhouse Square. The ceremony and reception were at Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church in Cleveland. Adrain is a member of the clergy at the church. The church has a beautiful gothic architecture. The structure is more than 100 years old and the congregation is the oldest in Cleveland. This was my first wedding inside the church, but I have been photographing wedding parties, engagement sessions and senior shoots on the church grounds for years.
Melanie and Adrian had a vintage 20’s inspired theme to their wedding. After the ceremony, the cocktail hour was in the much more modern Trinity Commons, while the caterers turned the church area into the reception hall. That’s also when we took the opportunity to go outside for the creative session.
The church looked amazing for the reception. The uplighting on the towering pillars was really spectacular, especially next to the stained glass windows. For entertainment, they had The Rat Pack and More, which is an ensemble of Rat Pack tribute singers. Melanie and Adrian had the Frank Sinatra - Dean Martin combo. They sounded super authentic and were very funny as well. They also DJ’d contemporary music as the night went on. Below are a few photos from Melanie and Adrian’s wedding.
