Lindsay and Eric

Lindsay and Eric had a beautiful April wedding at the Western Reserve Historical Center in Cleveland. April can be a bit risky for photos, especially if the ceremony is scheduled to be outdoors. Luckily the Cleveland Historical Center can accommodate indoor or outdoor weddings. The weather did hold off for us to get some great outdoor shots, but we were also able to use the entire mansion to get some really cool shots inside as well.

We started out at the Courtyard by Marriott in University Circle. Lindsay got ready there with her Bridesmaids. Lindsay and Eric did a first look in the courtyard area of the museum. We then had about two hours to take photos inside and out. The ceremony was inside the museum. It was a very emotional, yet light-hearted ceremony. The recessional went outside into the courtyard while the guests blew bubbles. After the ceremony, there was a cocktail hour in the downstairs of the Crawford Auto Museum. That museum is a special exhibit which features amazing classic and rare cars. Many of which were manufactured in Cleveland in the early 1900’s. It’s really a unique environment for the guests. The reception was on the main floor of the auto museum, which is a big open space with some incredible classic cars. It’s also home to the carousel that used to be at Euclid Beach. The carousel is working, and guests were able to ride it throughout the night. Lindsay and Eric had a staged sendoff outside of the museum, complete with sparklers.

We were fortunate enough to have an engagement shoot, which really helped me to get to know Lindsay and Eric. They really got onto the part and posed so effortlessly. They were also big on the smiles and laughing.
